Learning through play
Many researchers have said that play nourishes a child’s overall development. Play is the fuel for the child’s brain. Children play through learning and learn through playing. Play helps children understand what it takes to make it into the real world by giving them confidence. Decades of research has proven that children who play are happier and are more successful in developing the required skills for life.
At Grandma & Grandpas, we recognise and respect play as being worthwhile for a child and therefore lay a great emphasis towards learning through play. Our carefully structured program creates a proper balance between academics and play so that the children develop a lifelong love of learning. We encourage children to play and engage in different types of activities such as: imaginative/pretend play, toys and equipment, messy play, creative play, book reading, physical play, singing, dancing, cooking.
